Forbidden Music

In keeping with the TCC’s passion to make early music come alive in combination with storytelling and imagery, we proudly present this six-part video series, Forbidden Music.

Each filmed performance tells a story about a type of repertoire which was forbidden or guarded in secrecy.  A different TCC singer introduces each episode, contextualizing the musical selection by giving us its historical backstory alongside images from the time period.

Stay tuned for upcoming releases of more videos from this series!
